The research project involves detailed investigations of non-premixed engins and emission characteristics using heavy fuel oil, marine diesel oil, and liquefied natural gas oil in large two-stroke marine diesel engines. Responsibilities Contribute to all aspects of the developing of the turbulent chemistry interaction models. The candidate is also expected to work closely with Department of Kongens Lyngby engine models and Biochemical Engineering at DTU to define the criteria in developing skeletal mechanisms for different fuels and evaluate their performance in CFD calculations.
